~Spend 5 minutes and save lives!~

Sometimes i post crap..but at times, I really post serious stuffs...
Now, this is serious!!!

Ytd, kuan pointed out smthing real important!

Let's read:
S'pore has plunged into a recession for the first time in 6 years! After reading the news, Mr Robert went blank.....

In Singapore, the number of ppl who know how to perform CPR is pathetic...If a guy collapses here, most prob ppl will call ambulance...then the efficient ambulance will arrive in 5 mins...but the guy has already died soon after 3 mins....

In view of so many "sudden deaths" in Singapore in recent years, I really think we should learn how to perform cpr..
I just feel that even if one is not trained;he/she could save a live during critical moments of desperation...
of coz if possible, go for a proper training course...if not, equip with the knowledge and prepare for the worse...

When to perform CPR:
1)Check to see if the victim is conscious. If so, ask them what hurts and what their name is as you check for injuries. If they are conscious, do not perform CPR.
2)If they are unconscious, make sure that their airway is open and that they are breathing. If they are not breathing, perform artificial breathing. If they are breathing, do not perform CPR.
3)Check their pulse. If there is no pulse, perform CPR. If there is a pulse, but the victim is not breathing, perform artificial resuscitation only.

There's no replay in real life...
