The professor at the engineering faculty was in his office when the student stabbed him with a knife in the back.

Prof Chan Kap Luk, a Singaporean in his 40s, is said to be the supervisor of the fourth year student in a project.

After stabbing the professor, the male student — who was in his 20s — slit his wrists and jumped down a building at the engineering block." — 938LIVE/CNA/yt

Hmmm, being a final year student myself, I definitely understand the stress and pressure everyone of us faces... according to the news, it seems like the student has quite good grades as he was said to be "above average" who has "recently slipped"...

My grades "have not been above average" all the while...maybe I have more reason to do that...haha...but it is wrong ar! coz u might left with no grades + no life + waste money to buy a knife!

Anyway, I recalled a friend from China that I knew during my FYP...
he told me, he has a period of down period that he "有时想干死自己,不然就干死别人"... hhmmm....
