Dilemma....?

In view of the poor economy outlook now, i fully understand that the manufacturing sector is one of the most severely hit. I was supposed to go for an interview at Chartered Semiconductor on Mon(one of the big names..though laid of 500+ at the start of this year). The job scope is related to my field of studies and this is one job...erm, no i shd say career, that i hope to embark on...

but it seems i got no luck... the HR lady asked me "why are you so late??", the moment she saw me. i wasn't late, and would never be late esp for an interview...it turned out that she emailed me to come at 3pm but she reli wanted to mean 2pm. So when i reached there, the hiring manager was too bz to conduct interview for me...then apparently, the team leader of another department doing Paramteric Testing(more programming)also has vacancy and was asked to interview me...his name was Raymond..a nice guy who cracked abit of jokes on engineering...frm the way he speaks, i knew straight away he was an engineer...not HR executive nor HRM.

I din get the job...coz i told him i prefered the jobscope more for the one I applied.

I called back and asked the HR lady to try to put me thru another interview which i was supposed to go again asap. I've emailed her and checked mail today but no reply... then 5pm+..another company called to offer the job i went for interview last week....

Shd i take up the offer or wait for chartered... one is confirmed...the other, i still yet to go for interview...dilemma......dilemma?
